Fighting hunger and food insecurity

Hunger remains a critical global issue, with 733 million facing it globally. Despite efforts, food insecurity continues to rise, driven by conflict, climate change, and economic crises.

As a global industry-leading food services provider, it is our responsibility to act.

We founded our philanthropic cause, Stop Hunger , in 1996 to support the mission to end hunger and food insecurity. Over the last decade more than 100 million people have benefited from its work. This cause matters deeply to many of our clients and partners, who join us in supporting   Stop Hunger. Through Better Tomorrow 2028 we will continue to strengthen this commitment and expand our impact.

How Stop Hunger works

Stop Hunger operates worldwide through emergency hunger relief, food assistance, and programs that empower women and younger generations. These initiatives help people gain the resources and skills necessary to build sustainable futures. We support Stop Hunger through fundraising and volunteering. Sodexo employees can volunteer for a day with Stop Hunger on full pay through the volunteering policy.
