Sodexo Recognized by Bloomberg for Gender Equality

Sodexo, world leader in Quality of Life Services, announced today that it has been named to Bloomberg’s 2018 Gender-Equality Index (GEI) which measures gender equality across internal company statistics, employee policies, external community support and engagement, and gender-conscious product offerings.

This first sector-neutral Bloomberg GEI follows the release of the Bloomberg Financial Services Gender-Equality Index (BFGEI), in 2017 including 52 financial firms, headquartered in 17 countries and regions. The 2018 GEI expands globally to represent 24 countries and to all sectors.

In 2017, Sodexo made a commitment to have 40 percent of senior leadership made up of women leaders by 2025. The company has 32 percent of women in leadership positions currently. The Board of Directors is already balanced.
