R2R Specialist - General Ledger

Sodexo Business Services (SBS) is currently looking for a self-driven R2R Specialist- General Ledger, to join its growing team.

A day in the life of an R2R Specialist - General Ledger

You will be an expert in Record to Report processes, supporting accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Your day-to-day

  • General Ledger Accounting : Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accounting transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
  • Month-End Closing Activities: Execute month-end closing procedures according to the closing calendar, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Intercompany Accounting: Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and cross-company recharges across multiple legal entities.
  • Fixed Assets Management: Manage asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate fixed asset accounting.
  • Management Accounting: Support management accounting activities and ensure the accurate delivery of financial information.
  • Financial Controls & Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Review account activity, explain significant variances, and support financial reporting processes.
  • Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with stakeholders across different geographies and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements/ Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, Audit, Accounting, or a related field.
  • More than 2 years of professional experience in Finance & Accounting or a similar area.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Technical proficiency in SAP, HFM, and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to achieve established KPIs and performance targets.
