Sodexo Business Services (SBS) is currently looking for a highly organized and strategic Purchasinf Speciaist to support global procurement initiatives by turning data, supplier insights, and market intelligence into opportunities that drive value across our food categories.
A day in the life of a ‘Purchasing Specialist”
As a Procurement Specialist, you will support global category strategies through data analysis, supplier engagement, and sourcing activities. Working closely with Category Directors, Finance, Data teams, and suppliers, you will help identify opportunities, support sourcing events, and provide insights that enable informed procurement decisions across international markets.
Your day-to-day
- Collect, analyse, and interpret category and supplier data.
- Support RFI, RFQ, benchmarking, and sourcing activities.
- Create reports and dashboards to track category performance.
- Collaborate with Finance and Data teams to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Support supplier onboarding and relationship management.
- Contribute to supplier negotiations and sourcing processes.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Help identify savings opportunities and support category activation initiatives
Requirement/Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Management, or Strategic Sourcing.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
- Experience supporting sourcing activities, RFIs, RFQs, or supplier management processes.
- Financial acumen and experience working with performance metrics and savings reporting.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
