Sodexo Business Services (SBS) is currently looking for a self-driven O2C Specialist (Receive & Apply) to join its growing team.

A day in the life of a O2C Specialist- Receive & Apply

You must be a reliable and outgoing personality, responsible for handling multiple duties. Good communication skills are a must and a good sense of humour a bonus!

Your day-to-day

Cash Application & Payment Processing

  • Payment allocation, clearing, resets and reversals, unapplied cash follow‑up, refunds processing, onsite payment postings, manual payments, cheque processing, Processing discounts (bank fees, early payments) & Customer account analysis (historic and payment patterns).

Reconciliations & Financial Controls

  • Invoice and credit note reconciliations, customer account reconciliations, credit card (Visa/Mastercard) reconciliation, CIT reconciliations, AP/AR contra reconciliations, Bank statement reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, Sodexo Pass reconciliations, Miscellaneous accounts and G/L control, AR aging and open‑item review, Quality control checks and payment analysis, Cash and revenue variance analysis.

Banking & Treasury Operations

  • Bank statement integration, direct debit proposals and corrections, managing manual bank accounts, identifying R2R payments (cash pooling, salaries, social security), confirming/factoring/pagarés processes, and CIT clearing.

Invoice & Credit Note Management

  • Transfers, processing discount items (bank fees, early payments), and handling customer or internal team queries, invoice transfers, remittance analysis, managing WOFFS (write-offs)

Requirement/Qualifications

  • Degree and/or Solid accounting / financial background is a requirement
  • Fluent on verbal and written English
  • Advanced IT skills including MS Office main tools (Word/Excel/PPT)
  • Advanced systems knowledge (SAP/IVANTI, etc)
