Legal Contract Manager
Sodexo Business Services (SBS) is currently looking for a self-driven Legal Contract Manager to support effective management of global client contracts by providing contract management expertise, compliance, mitigating risks.
A day in the life of a Legal Contract Manager
As LCM, you'll play a critical role in supporting one or more Global Strategic Accounts by managing contractual processes, maintaining governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Your day-to-day
- Support the drafting and implementation of local agreements under Global Master Agreements, working closely with local Legal Counsels.
- Provide contractual guidance and support to operational and commercial teams to improve compliance and contract utilization.
- Deliver contract management training sessions and presentations to stakeholders across the account.
- Manage contractual governance processes, including change control procedures and contract administration activities.
- Assess contractual risks and prepare recommendations or caveats for proposed contract changes and deviations.
- Ensure contractual amendments follow the appropriate approval routes and internal delegation frameworks.
- Participate in governance meetings with clients and internal account leadership teams when required.
- Maintain contract management tools, trackers, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor contract compliance and support the delivery of contractual obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with regional and country teams to manage change control documentation and contract deliverables.
- Support contract-related risk assessments and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to implement preventive and corrective actions
Requirement/Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in contract management, legal support, or a related commercial legal environment.
- Paralegal qualification or equivalent legal education/background.
- Experience working with commercial contracts in multi-country or international business environments.
- Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation support skills.
- Good understanding of contractual governance, compliance, and risk management principles.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Experience using contract management tools, trackers, and document management systems.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Additional languages, particularly Spanish, are a plus
