Financial Data Analyst

Sodexo Business Services (SBS) is currently looking for a self-driven Finance Data Analyst, to join its growing team.
A day in the life of a Finance Data Analyst
The FP&A Germany team is responsible for management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the German operations, ensuring accurate and timely submission of P&L, Balance Sheet, and multi-dimensional analysis in the group reporting system. The team collaborates closely with different stakeholders, such as the Country CFO and CEO, Business Performance Directors, and the Continental Europe FP&A team, to provide insightful financial analysis and reporting that supports strategic decision-making
Your day-to-day
- You are responsible for the provision and optimization of the local and global financial data landscape as well as the associated system environment (SAP and local planning and reporting tools) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- You ensure that both business requirements and the group’s objectives and strategies are taken into account.
- You manage the system-side execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as planning processes, and advise other departments on financial and system-related matters.
- You drive the further development of our financial data landscape and act as a finance expert in this context.
- You develop IT solutions and analyses for typical controlling-related questions and conduct internal training sessions for our operational staff.
- Proactively developing suggestions for improvement, including for adjacent areas, comes naturally to you.
Requirements/ Qualifications
- A successfully completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling/Finance or Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant further training.
- Very good knowledge of SAP FI/CO/BW, Excel, and Power BI, as well as a strong IT affinity.
- Solid expertise in Controlling and Finance, along with experience in project management related to IT systems, interface management, and data management.
- In addition to strong communication skills, you possess analytical thinking abilities and a structured, process-oriented way of working.
- Business-fluent German and very good English skills complete your profile.
