Finance Manager

Sodexo Business Services (SBS) is currently looking for a self-driven Finance Manager, to join its growing team.
A day in the life of a Finance Manager
Support the Sr Client Finance Director in delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis. The role will act as a key contributor to budgeting, forecasting and compliance processes as well as assist with client facing support.
Your day-to-day
Compliance & Controls:
- Work with Finance Directors to manage a timely and effective Invoicing process for each Account
- Ensuring vendors follow Purchase to Pay requirements and that invoices are accurate and paid in line with contractual commitments
- Ensure that all VAT and Withholding Tax guidelines are followed.
- Support audit processes and risk management activities.
- Review monthly account receivables and debt management to meet targets.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports including actuals, forecasts, budgets and variance analysis.
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and quarterly business reviews.
- Provide ad-hoc insight and analysis as required on account performance

- Extensively use the SAP system, ensuring monthly financial close is accurate and understood
- Develop, prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports and analysis
- Work with Business Performance Director to assist with forecasts, budgets and analysis
Collaboration:
- Work closely with regional and country finance teams across a range of geographies to ensure issues are dealt and to share best practice.
- Liaise with finance and or operational teams for cross-regional alignment.
- Bring innovation and fresh thinking, whilst seeking to standardise and automate wherever possible
- Ready to get to the detail and manage with complex and sometimes incomplete data.
Requirements/ Qualifications
- Educated to a minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration, or equivalent
- Calm, proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset with good business acumen.
- Experience of SAP and financial systems
- Strong Excel and analytical skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written, in English
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Client business language is English – therefore must have excellent in oral and written.
- Other European languages are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Google platforms such as Google Sheets, Drive, slides
