“How do we create that experience where no matter how long or short someone's tenure is, they look back on it fondly [and say] that was an incredible job, I felt amazing working there, I learned so much working there,” says Cabrera. “Trying to define that in this new way of working is going to be really interesting and super challenging.”

While there are many questions business leaders need to be asking themselves at this critical juncture, he says, chief among them is this: “How do you continually grow and develop your people?”.

In this interview, Cabrera joins Megan Wright, Senior Editor at Longitude, a Financial Times company, to discuss how expectations of employee experience are changing – and what employers need to do to meet them head on.
