A statistical and case study information on the global performance of the Sodexho Group, with regard to sustainable development.
1 March 2007 - We are pleased to present you our second Corporate Responsibility Report “Act as a Corporate Citizen” that provides a comprehensive view of how our teams are working toward meeting our commitments around the world. This report explains our social and environmental performance in the area of Corporate Responsibility/Sustainable Development which encompasses issues such as:
- Health and safety
- Environmental protection
- Respect for diversity
- Involvement in local community development
- Leadership in global causes such as reducing hunger and malnutrition
For the first time this year, Sodexho alliance has compared the data published by the Group in its 2005-2006 ”Act as a corporate citizen” Report with the indicators contained in the GRI3 reporting framework launched by the GRI in 2006, as well as with the Global Compact Principles. The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework establishes international guidelines for reporting economic, social and environmental data. www.globalreporting.org
