Background
In 1964 Mr. Milhaud joined the Caisse d'Épargne and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Bouches du Rhône and Corsica region in 1983. He was also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Centre National des Caisses d'Épargne (CENCEP) and in 1995 became Vice President of the Board of Directors for Caisse Centrale des Caisses d'Épargne.
In 1999, after the merger of these two institutions and the creation of the Caisse Nationale des Caisses d'Épargne (CNCE), Mr. Milhaud was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board.
