Questions and answers about job applications to Sodexo

Q. What language should I write my CV and cover letter in?

A. In Asia, Africa and the Middle East, it is not essential to write your application in the local language, English is acceptable. Elsewhere you should write your resume and cover letter in the language of the country concerned. It is essential to speak the local language in order to be recruited.

Q. I have sent an application to contact and have not received an answer.

A. Recruitment is decentralized at Sodexo. Each country and each subsidiary organizes its own recruitment. To ensure your application is dealt with, you must not send it to contact. Go to "Job openings" and choose the country where you wish to apply, apply for the job offer which interests you, or if you are not interested in the offers posted, send in a unsolicited application by clicking on “Unsolicited application”.

Q. When should I send in an unsolicited application?

A. If, after having chosen the country where you want to work, none of the job offers posted suit your profile, you may send us an spontaneous application.
